Hi ricvon, yup. I think the P and VP are very warm people, who are seriously trying to help. I will leave the final decision to my child. SST is also our only CO. But my child wasnt quite "sold" by the class activities today. Have a feeling he will not take on the offer.

I would like to know if the child has to have very good results in maths and science in order to qualify for GAT and CRT tests?
My son will be in P6 next year and he has very strong interest in science but weaker in maths. I am just wondering what will be his chances of getting selected for the phase 1 tests.
Any advice is much appreciated.

There is no special requirement for Maths and Science in order to qualify for CRT ad GAT. Anyone can pay to take these tests. SST will then shortlist those students who do well in their CRT and GAT for a second round of selection.
