The P1 & P2s usu wear pinafore once per week.


Do join the Parent Support Group (PSG). you will develop deeper ties with the school.

My girl is in P2. She has great teachers; not every class is as blessed.
We like the school very much, esp the new principal.

Pros
- It is a great Catholic school with a down-to-earth school culture.
- The school follows MOE guidelines st P1 and P2 will be a breeze. Simple mini tests and little homework, although homework depends on teachers.
- Girls with special needs will be able to cope with P1 & P2.
- It has a sizable expat minority. My girl’s class has 8-10 foreigners, so it feels a bit like international school.
- optional CCA in lower pri which are popular with girls e.g. art, gymnastics, dance and drama
- GREAT principal
- supportive PSG & volunteer catechists (parents) - they are often praying for events and the girls

Cons
-limited CCAs in upper pri
- work may be "too simple" if your girl is fast learner (well, your girl will be a big fish in small pond)
- school bus coordinator is not very responsive
- school book shop auntie is reportedly hostile to parents buying school books every year (She was quite ok with me. Perhaps it’s the heat & parents asking questions without reading booklist) I find the lady very kind to her clients (pri sch girls)
- school clerk - one is nice, one isn’t so approachable
- canteen food - needs to add more variety & oomph
