Hi there!:?: Hi there!
Need advice from fellow parents. My child is taking her PSLE soon and got feedback from her teacher about her standard.
Tried to get home tutor but was advised by agencies like smiletution and tutionsingapore that tutors will not take on job because they have to pay half month commission to agency and only one month left.
The parent volunteers tell me merritt education is the best here and I just visited the place. They’re not taking in any P6 students cause of disruption to other students.
Need to check with parents if there are other alternatives.
Also, anyone taken no-pay leave to coach their child? Is it true that will cause strain in relationship?
Thanks.
If tuition is not an available option, then listen to the feedback from the teachers and work together with your child on areas that she is not strong in. At this time of the year, the children are revising their concepts in school. I suggest doing practice papers to reinforce what has been taught and learned.
There are also articles available on https://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/article/?category_name=primary-school page of the forum. Reading them might perhaps help clear your doubts.
I have known of colleagues taking either no-pay leave or lighten their workload to coach and give support to their child. After all, this is the children's first major exam in their life! I'm not sure what kind of strain you are referring to. If you're referring to the parent-child relationship, it depends on the parents' attitude towards the children and their learning and how we handle the situations that arise.

Hi everyone!
Any parents whom child is born in 2012, plan to enrol into Keming Pri Sch in Year 2019?
Need advice from all parents, how can I do the parent volunteer in this sch? Is the registration for parent volunteer closed? This is my first time experiencing this, I read alot of feedbacks in this portal for other pri schools, mentioning that parents have to do 40 hrs of volunteer work…which means around July 2017, we have to start to do volunteer work so that by July 2018 we will complete the volunteer hours. And in time to enrol our children for Year 2019 P1!
Really appreciate if you can advise me… and thank you in advance! -

Based on the school http://kemingpri.moe.edu.sg/keming-family/our-parent-support-group, registration as a parent volunteer is closed for those who wish to register their child under Phrase 2B for 2020 intake. Registration for next year is opened to the 2021 intake. -
Hi everyone,
I am very new to this forum and this is my first post as first time mummy going through P1 registration.
I am staying at CCK and my hubby was an old boy of Keming.
Just wanna solicit some advices for my boy’s registration of P1.
I stay <1km from South View Pri which is also a popular school. Should I apply for Phase 2C in SVP or Phase 2A1 in Keming and why?
Thanks in advance! -
I have brand Keming uniforms to let go.
2 sets of boys uniform (shirt size 30 and shorts M)
3 pieces of PE tee size 32

Anyone know which P6 class likely to have most top pupils this year?
Hi! Usually, it will be Amethyst who has the most number of pupils scoring 250 marks and above. Other classes (Diamond and Emerald) do have pupils achieving \"cream of the crop\" results but the percentile might not be as high as Amethyst. -

Actually from 2017, Amethyst was no longer the only TOP class. Last year’s p6 batch they mixed TOP 2 classes kids so 6 amethyst and 6 diamond class were equally strong.peasants:
