      barney8:
Any parents or seniors from nygh advise what is LeAP? How often do they need to stay back in sch?

After the program, will they be given leadership position in sch?

      Thank u
Hi barney8, I may not have taken part in the LeAP program, but I do know that leadership position isn't granted after the program. The LeAP program is mainly to expose secondary 2 students in the program to the activities in which the student councillors take part in. Hope this helps!

          Hi,

Does NYGH starts using ipad in year 1 or 2? Some books come in e-format. Does it make sense to buy both the physical and electronic Ines?
Also, for students taking third language, will the result be computed in their final score?

          Thanks.

The girls start using iPad in sec 2.
It depends in the girls as to which format they prefer. Mine bought both but some prefer physical copy.
Result of third language is only considered if it helps to improve the overall MSG.
            All the best!

Does your girl find it useful having the e-format? My initial thought was that they can lessen the load if they bring e-format to sch instead of the physical copy. But since ipad usage is only in year 2, it might not be as useful unless kid prefer to read e-format.

Regarding third language, is it only once a week? We are still deciding between German and Spanish.

Third language class is conducted once a week. Spanish and German are taught in MOELC Bishan. The School arranges one-way transport transport for girls going to the third language classes but an annual transport fee is charged.

I’m not very sure if these are fun, but the school will have CCA trial during orientation and the girls will be able to have a feel šŸ˜„
