Dear Parents
Can the boys buy their school uniforms at the school after registration, on 22 December, or should we purchase from the vendors provided in SJI website? -

NotEducatedMan:
Yes! I got the information from there.
Maybe the numbers are now higher with the merging of JCs.emoh:
Any idea what's is the breakdown of the intake for JC1 next year?
From existing IP - approx. 150?
From JAE - approx. 110?
Total - approx. 260?
The numbers you got seems to be from:
http://www.sji.edu.sg/shared/academic-programmes/sji-integrated-programme/frequently-asked-questions/ip-intake
11. What will be the JC 1 intake?
From 2013 to 2016, there will be an initial intake of 80 students (from SJI O-level track and other secondary schools) at JC 1 based on the merit of their O-level examination results. For 2016, the 80 students will be joining the existing 60 IP students moving up into JC 1. From 2017 onwards, in addition to the about 150 existing IP students moving up into JC 1, there will be an intake of around 110 students (from SJI O-level track and other secondary schools) based on the merit of their O-level examination results.
But then again, I wonder if the JCs actually take the instruction from MOE or decide by themselves as to how many % to increase for their own intake.
My guess is that there would be some consultation/agreement between the JCs and MOE on the number of intake and that the number would have to be approved by MOE.
If I am not wrong, there are only 4 classes of IP (someone please help to correct me if possible) and each class has around 30 students and plus a small dropout rate, there may be lesser than 120 existing IP students moving up to JC1. -
