Very heavy and slow traffic at the primary school near my place since 7am 😓

Took a different route to avoid the crowd

How is the first day of school to your dd / ds and to you ? 😄

DS was super excited and woke up early to prepare for his new school. Dropped off DH, DD and DS at the MRT station, and DH accompanied DD and DS to take MRT to school. Traffic was smooth and I ended up reaching office before 6:30am 😉

Both kids were eager to go to school on their own. Papa hen insisted on sending both.

DS started Sec 1 today. Looked smart in his new uni. DH actually asked DS if he wants him to stay in his school for awhile. Can see DS's eyes widening with panic, darting left and right trying to find a gentle way to tell his father 'Please NO!' :rotflmao:

New school, new routines, but good that everyone was on time.

Seems like everyone slept well. I was the one suffering from sleep paralysis last night, which was something that hasnt happened to me for quite some time. Guess my biological clock was under stress to make sure everyone wakes up and finish their morning matters on time.

Still on relatively low gear. Finishing up a couple more things for school opening and taking it slow this week.

I am up between 6-7am everyday, be it school term or holiday. During school holidays, that makes me the first to be up. Today, I am the last one in the family to be up.

Can’t imagine this happened - i discovered yesterday that we forgot to buy my DD 's books - slap forehead

Wouldn’t have happened if my DD is first born. As usual with no.2, we learnt to take things easy, perhaps too relaxed now… never mind, my DD should know how to handle her teacher… she’s in P2

DS’ second year in this school, so it was pretty much auto-pilot for us. I noticed fewer cars than usual driving in at the usual time…because most parents chose to park & walk the kids in…and lingering in the foyer area to say their encouraging goodbyes lol.

After I dropped off DS reminding him where to assemble, back home & closing my eyes…then suddenly realized I forgot to tell him which pick up point I will pick him up from after school wahahahahhaa…guess it will be “treasure hunt” among the crowd later!

I was the one who cannot sleep last night and not my kiddo. Body clock still on holiday timetable.
