        ammonite:
Lee, the one with stroke and passed on - was it a lady?

Ammonite, I chanced upon your question this morning at 6am and I literally 被吓醒!I thought you know who was the person I was talking about which means I have exposed my DH’s identity. :nailbite:

The person who passed on after being hit by a stroke was a middle-age guy.

:nailbite: that is worrying. leeyl, any idea how did they got diagnosed ?

DH said both of them on the plump side. But I suppose skinny folks could also be impacted by stroke

            Lee,
I was better than coffee? 😉 No worries, even if it was a lady, still so many people in Singapore with stroke yes? Kinda scary to think about that. 😓
The latest case I know of was a lady, leaving behind young children. The other one was a guy. The two cases were less than a month apart.
The guy last year that your DH had known - it was also following a stroke right?

Wake-up call to take care of ourselves and not push our bodies too hard. 😓

(sad, gotta change them all to past tense now...)

DH was not aware of the cause but felt it was not likely as that SAF guy was damn fit one leh! The one he mentioned yesterday was from police force, should be quite fit too. :scared:

This website has well written ebooks educating people who are diagnosed with cancer and don't know what to do.

                  http://www.vitalcancerinfo.com

As a cancer patient, you expect your doctor to explain everything you want to know but in reality this never happen. At most you are given five to 10 minutes to consult your doctor. I thought that this website gives a good source to help one understand their situation and guide them through on what to do next.

Is there any way to prevent stroke? Is stroke genetically inheritance?

Lots of different causes, but one of the most common is hypertension. So is high cholesterol and diabetes. But there are other non-preventable causes like genetics, age etc.

                      See:
