Need some interview tips
-
Can say the previous job offered limited challenges and learning opportunities to enhance my skills and knowledge?
-
Hi, I had done hiring for my team (MNC) - do NOT reveal the truth. Organisations look for team players, someone who can take the brunt & solve problems ensemble. They certainly don't want ex-employees going round bad-mouthing them - immature rite. So no matter how qualified you are for the job, the bosses want team dynamics - tell them you wanna grow your skills, challenge yourself in a different aspect & show them you fit in.
Bonne chance. -
Hi Han Seo, mind sharing what is your field of specialization?

Early childhood education. I was an adjunct lecturer for the past 10 years.
Done with the interview today. As expected, the interviewer was surprised why I wanted to "downgrade" myself. -

Curriculum Writer. Interviewer told me her staff are all aspiring to be lecturers and here I am, "downgrading". Everyone thinks lecturing is a glamorous job.

Different people will want different things at different stage of their lives. I had upgraded and downgraded over the years and had explained my thought process for the decision to the interviewers. I was lucky that they are progressive.
