Discussing the annual budget surplus, jobs for locals, wages earned by lower-income workers and in-work poverty from a unique perspective as a statistician, Leong pronounced:
“You have been robbed, dear Singaporeans.”
With soothsayers like him around, it's no wonder why the majority of Singaporeans continue to place their faith in the PAP. Folks like Leong never realize that they are actually the best spokesperson for the PAP.
He would have been more creditable if he could share this evening's TOTO results before Pool announces it. -

it's a lousy deal in my opinion. even if give out $500, ah gong will get back many times more when increase of GST is implemented. there is close to a $10 BILLION surplus and 2 percentage point increase in GST :moneyflies: -
I think singapore has a challenging future. Need to bulk up war chest, better more than less in times of need.
