There are 4 boy catholic schools affiliated to SJI secondary.
20-25% each from 4 schools. The rest need to go other secondary.

Due to the cut off at 238, only 20-25% of the cohort managed to obtain 238 and above.

Actually, about 20% (less than 50 boys) of SJI Junior P6 boys move on to SJI Secondary every year. This figure is fairly constant in the last few years.

These are the boys who are able to meet the cut-off points of 238 and who chose SJI Secondary as their 1st choice.

Don't think the numbers are right.
The total percentage of boys from the 4 primary schools only make up 30-40% of SJI boys entering Sec 1.

                dear parents,

i booked the BTO (Woodleigh Glenn), upon the move in date my son will be entering to P1.
i wanted to enroll my son to Maris Stella Primary, may i know how i can submit the volunteer application? is there any method that can increase the chances of get the vacancy?
Can i use the my new house address (the BTO) to submit P1 application instead of stick to my old house address?

besides, for those family that has daughter, any good school for girl nearby that area? appreciate for the recommendation and advice.
                Thanks a lot.

                Regards
                Paige

Other girl’s schools include the CHIJ at Serangoon Gardens, or CHIJ Toa Payoh.

If you’re looking at co-ed schools, can look at the ones in Toa Payoh area like Pei Chun or Kheng Cheng, or even other areas like Geylang Methodist Primary.

All in all, depends if you’re ok with your girl taking school bus to travel further, and if affiliation is a consideration for you.

Maybe you can share some other information as well, like year your gal will be entering P1 so that forumners here can help you better.

Thanks Cherry, but MGS seems a bit far.
besides, may i know how i could join the volunteer at Maris Stella? will that increase the chance for my son to enter P1?
                      thanks in advance.

my BTO is Woodleigh Glenn, i hope it is within 1KM to Maris Stella, as i tried checking on the distance using OneMap, i could not find any information.
And wonder if Cedar Primary is a good school too?
                        thanks in advance.
