wah very pretty! where is this shangri-la???

I thought only got one near RGS?
This place is in Shangri-la, the one near RGS. They did a renovation of their Tower Wing. I am now having staycation there..it's perfect.

We have tried other hotels like Capella, Ritz Carlton but I would have to say this is our favourite. They have a whole 9 floor dedicated for families. You can either get a family theme room, they are like a suite with the children's room done up very well, my kids went crazy when they saw their side of the suite. You can also get a normal room on the 9 floor for $400 I think, its about half the price of the family theme room. We have access to Stokke strollers, washing machine, dryer, high chair. My sister who has a 2 year old finds it very useful.

We adults could have quite a bit of time to unwind and read and relax because the kids loved Buds, the indoor and outdoor playground, they have unlimited access and its free for those staying at the 9 floor of the hotel. I tried the slides myself, they are quite fast, not the kind you get stuck and have to inch your way down. The muddy room is where they can paint on the walls. They loved that too. It is one of the best designed and cleanest indoor playgrounds we have been to. But older kids who are 11-12 yrs old may find the playground a bit too young for them.

We will definitely come back again for another staycation. Really worth checking out.

Signed up for one of those M hotel memberships, get free hotel stay every year so that has been our staycation.

I couldn’t have agreed more. Marine Life Park is one of our favorite attraction in Sentosa. For the hotel, I haven’t decided which one is the best.

AMOY hotel nearest to Telok Ayer MRT Station

                A unique staycation experience

Pampered with a welcome drink, can drinks in the mini fridge in the room are complimentary
Lots of eateries in the vicinity and no prob in finding makan

Either single or deluxe double room

We booked the latter for $180 (with company discount) inclusive of two breakfast sets

Another option is to take the silver membership from Accor. It comes with 2 free nights which can be used in various hotels in the region, including Sofitel Sentosa. Other than the 2 free nights, it also comes with F&B vouchers, so I thought it's quite worth it.
