The 4 primary Co-ed Catholic primary schools in Singapore you are looking at, are :-Hello everyone,
Can I check if there are any Catholic co-ed primary schools? Most of the Catholic schools that I know of are single sex school.
Holy Innocent primary,
St Anthony primary,
De Iaselle primary,
Canossa Catholic primary
(from next year 2019 onwards, then start turning into co-ed)
Apart from above, the rest of the Catholic primary schools, are either \"All Boys\" primary, Or \"All Girls\" primary schools. -
Thanks phtthp and schweppes for your helpful replies!!

Hi
My son P1 registration this year under Ph 2C <1km Maha Bodhi Sch using grandparent address. Do anyone know any Singapore Buddhist Federation member who can recommend my son under Ph 2B? -

1. Using grandparent address would place you in the 1 to 2km group and not the <1km group. Going by past history, there's a high possibility that those in the 1 to 2km group will not get a chance to even ballot for a place this year.Hi

2. Knowing someone from the SBF isn't enough. One of the parents must also be directly connected to the SBF as per their FAQ.
I would strongly suggest that you identify other schools backup options for both Phase 2C and Phase 2Cs. -
Those looking for Methodist schools can start applying for church membership class & ready by 2019, as some Methodist church starting registration this period. Those looking for July ready membership, some Methodist church may still hold short membership classes due to special celebration year.

Hi all, my wife and i would like to enrol our daughter into Methodist Girls School (although she is only 2 years old right now).
We stay really far away and have no affiliation with MGS.
Would we be placed under 2B if my daughter is in a christian preschool? I understand that typically we have to be a member of a church to get 2B… but i was just thinking if it would be the same if she’s from a christian preschool?
Thanks! -
MGS No affliation at all, to any Methodist pre-school (kindergarten).
not just MGS.
All Methodist, Catholic, Anglican, Presbyterian primary schools -
No affliation to any kindergarten / pre-school / child-care centre.
Even in Phase 2B, itself :-
MGS primary (Blackmore drive, at Bukit Timah Road) already required balloting for SC, less than 1 km, amongst the Methodist church members.
Outside 1 km, from MGS :
don't even have chance to ballot.
can contact MGS primary Admin (general office), for past years' P1 balloting statistics.
This Straits Times below reported that 47 children competed for 31 vacancies, at MGS primary last year, July 2017 .

Perhaps consider other primary school, nearer your house instead.
or
Find out or contact Paya lebar Methodist primary, if you are outside 2 km for SC, what's your chance of Phase 2B balloting ? They can provide u statistics.
MGS (Blackmore drive, Bukit timah) is so much more competitive, harder to enter, compared to Paya Lebar MGS (Lorong Ah Soo) -

It's kinda sad though.. i was from ACS and had always wanted my son/daughter to be enrolled in ACS/MGS..
Sigh..
But i will get a better chance if i were a member of a church ya? -

Yes, you might have a better chance if you're a member of Methodist church. There were rare occasions when MGS didn't require balloting for applicants within 1-2 km, but usually balloting happens for applicants <=1km.
