The promo papers may be tough but I don't find the school's promotion criteria strict; students merely need to obtain 5 au pass (including GP) to get promoted to Yr 6. 1 H2 is 2 au, GP is 1 au, which means student who passes 2 H2 + GP will get promoted.

I heard that for this 'A' level batch, only 10+ students failed to meet the promotion criteria, but about 1/2 of them were given conditional promotion. Not sure about what the \"condition\" is though.

Hey guys if your child is going to DSA to dhs through languages, they will need to know what they are signing up for when they sit through the interview. He or she will very likely be rejected if they dont know enough about the school, the language programmes and why they want to DSA through this. (The competition is probably very intense-- heard they only accept about 1 or 2 out of 20-50?? But it it worth the try if your child has the aptitude for it)

Seeking Dunmanians who had experienced DSA (Wushu).

1. For the trial selection, is it mandatory to perform 1 quanshu, 1 long weapon and 1 short weapon?
2. What are the chances of being successful in DSA (including being on WL) if candidate did not get individual top placings in the National School Games? (Assuming academic results are above 80%.)
3. Any history of acceptance with achievement of only #5-7 placings?

Hi KTP. There is always a chance. If she is holding a leadership role it would be an added advantage. Just go ahead and submit her result slips and certificates. By the way, she can apply for more than 1 domain.
