My DD is P2 this year... So far I'm happy with the school, no complain... Relatively new school, modern thinking... So far the school has been thoughtful with their arrangement... Currently have P1 to P3 only right... since the P2 & P3 classrooms are of higher levels, they arranged P2 & P3 to proceed to upstairs, the School Hall for assembly so that they don't need to climb too many stairs at one go... while the P1 assemble at ground level school canteen as their classroom is at the lower level... (the school has 7 levels)... recess time are also different for P1s, P2s & P3 to avoid over crowded... P3 has different colour (blue instead of white) for their sch uniform top so that teachers can easily identify who are the P1 & P2 as they need more observation as compared to the P3... Good leader aka principal... Teachers handling my DD are great too!

Anything is particular that you wanna find out more?

hmmm... firstly, I wanna share with you that school-based student care is unlike private student care where they works kind of like a tuition centre... School-based student care provides 'watch-over' of the children. Just like school, they have a time table where is stated what time is nap time, what time is homework time etc. They will tell the children it's time to do what. However, they cannot enforce the children to do so. So main responsibility will be on our children.

My P2 DD has no issue fitting in. She comes home with 95% homework done (sometime she comes home with a bit HW left but rare la, usually is 100% done) and English & MT spelling learnt. She's happy with her Student Care Mr & Ms's guidance. She also happy that from Student Care, she gets to know other children from other classes too.

Hi fellow parents of Punggol Cove Primary kids… I am new to this forum. My children are in their first cohort of students. Are there any whatsapp or info group for current P3, going on P4 in 2019? I would like to join one. Thanks.
