Phase 2A2 - do you think there is balloting under 1km ? 1-2km any chances to ballot?
Chance is low. Hence many > 1 km will all apply to be under 2A1, just to play safe.phtthp:
Nanyang really lucky!
Nanyang : left behind 10 seats, for 2A2
Ai Tong : still leave behind 16 seats, for 2A2 -

actually, MOE should ban (bar) subject HODs from letting their child enrol into that school where they are teaching in : because HODs have access to ALL levels' exam papers, P1 to P6 Prelim (CA1, CA2, SA1, SA2) in that school, since HODs will review all exam papers set by their fellow peer Teachers, give advice to ALL other level subject Tr, what question to set or what not to set, so all exam papers (for ALL level) are at the HODs' finger tips, readily.
so in a way it is also inconvenient to have the teachers' kids studying in the same school for the reason of access to exam papers. what if the subject HODs themselves have kids studying in the school?phtthp:
the mother teaching in the school may not teach her own child, or school bar her from setting school exam paper for her child's level, but may still be able to access school exam papers SA1 / SA2 for her child's level, kept inside the school cupboard staffroom : unless the subject HODs in her school make absolutely sure that she literally no access to exam papers, for her child's level -

There are two ACS schools. Now after end of 2A1 : can't tell, because still 1eft quite a lot of vacancies, in the two ACS schools.ya I'm waiting for chief to update the analysis too. will there be any this year?? It's dragon babies!
what do you guys think of the chances for ACSJ <1km phase 2C?
After phase 2B end, will get a clearer picture. The ACS school, with lesser vacancies left for 2C : SC will ballot,
staying less than 1 km.
This is not any other ordinary year, but dragon boys special year of Registration ! Some more, so many extra 2600 new vacancies on standby as safety net, in neighbourhood schools all over Sg, ever ready to catch all who failed at Phase 2C balloting. Thus, many will be playing the new MOE computerised balloting game, to try their luck, at Phase 2C balloting ! -
Makehill:
Henry Park overflow during 2A1, any reason it is so hot this year?
Ai Tong, Nanyang, Henry Park : these 3 are Non full schools, popular only.
last time, Henry Park balloted under 2A2 before ? So this year (2018): is the very 1st time that Henry Park balloted, under Phase 2A1 ?
Henry Park P1 : open 10 classes (300 students).
in contrast, Ai Tong open 11 classes (330 P1 students) : AT have one more extra class compared to Henry Park, hence AT need not ballot under 2A1.
Nanyang : open 13 classes (390 pupils), even more than Ai Tong. So, if AT no need to ballot at 2A1, Nanyang likewise also no 2A1 balloting.
in fact, with 13 classes so many at Nanyang, hard for her to enter 2A1 balloting.
Compared to the other two full schools (Catholic High and St Nick), open so few classes :
Catholic High : 8 classes (intake 240),.
St Nick : 7 classes (intake 210)
7 or 8 classes, are only half the intake strength of Nanyang !
