Except for the specialized schools like NUS High, SST, SOTA & Sports School, all the other schools will have places for students to go in via PSLE score.

Could we share English and Mother Tongue oral topics for Prelims here. Some school already had the oral. I know ACS and SCGS had theirs. Anyone can share the topics tested?

                  Hi Zapy,

Thanks, But I understand TemasekJC, Cedar Girls, Dunman, NJC all of them filled the cohort through DSA. Not sure how much seat would be leftover for PSLE score.

NCM said depend on the course : is it O-level or IP course ?

if Express O level : max is 20 percent of Sec 1 O-level cohort admission

if IP : max is 35 percent of Sec 1 IP cohort

                    info

                    https://www.straitstimes.com/politics/parliament-dsa-scheme-for-pupils-to-enter-secondary-1-directly-to-be-expanded

but what NCM stated : was the max.

in the event school don't find suitable candidates to offer CO, then will release back the seats to enter, by T-score

Nonono...That is not true! There are still kids who entered via their psle results in the sec 1 posting exercise!

Check out Cedar Girls’ last year’s T score entry range for IP stream:

Phtthp is correct. The DSA intake of regular IP schools is average of 35%. Meaning there is a whopping majority of 65% of those schools’ cohort who entered IP stream by their PSLE score via the Sec 1 posting exercise.

So don’t scare yourself (or your child)!!! Continue to study hard for PSLE and don’t be too anxious about DSA offers if there is no news.
