It was reported in NZ that the coach may face charges!

I did cliff skydiving and rafting (and I can’t swim!). Regretted that I never did bungee jumping when all my bones were still in prime condition. I got injured when skiing despite weekly practice. Will I ski again? I’d do it again in a heartbeat!

kids learnt to swim in school and hubby taught them to ride a bicycle.

          risk appetite depends on individual.

😓 I won't put sky diving and bungee jumping in the same category. One requires skill, the other just .. well, gravity and someone else's ability to measure.

Everyone has their own element. It was interesting to note that one of the cave divers said the last thing you want is adrenaline while doing it. Cave divers have to remain very calm, it is not for thrill seekers in the traditional sense.

Now that my kids are bigger, my husband and I took turns to take one day (weekend) off per month so that we can have our time off. We do need a break sometimes.

                  totally agree.
the boys and the coach have been safely rescued...all thanks to the wonderful 90 divers who are really angels for their dedication. from this incident, we can also teach our kids something.

It’s so inspiring with the total success of rescue of the 12 wild boars & their coach, ppl hv drawn such creative representative pictures of them including all the Thai SEAL divers & intl divers, and all volunteers, etc.

Sad thing is in the process, loosing one Thai SRAL to save the boys.

There’s enuf of calamities & other bad news, so this is one that inspires world community to come together for resilient boys & a caring coach to celebrate!

                        Ya, it's really amazing.

Thinking aloud - why Thai govt so open for Int'l effort to support their Thai SEAL & decision was made very early in rescue effort. Some of these Caucasian divers has been ard in Thailand & established rapport? The kids are soccer team & now midst of World Cup so garnered attention?

Why is it that Japan rescue effort is so tardy this round? Abe too preoccupied with securing economic positioning & lobbying support fr US & getting into act with North Asia for future inclusiveness?

I wished they hadn't lost >170 lives in the recent flood. Many wld hv been the hapless elderly.

Hope they'll be more prepared for the coming typhoon towards Okinawa & Hokkaido. Taiwan now bracing itself for Typhoon Maria. 🙏
