Hi …
Does MOE website states the distance that require balloting? -
furfur:
They have a separate website which informs this:Hi ...

Tonight or tomorrow u should see the update. They will not inform the odds (aka how many applicants in that distance category fighting for how many seats) though. Just the distance category that will undergo balloting. Nail biting stuff...or maybe they just pretend people won’t bite their nails, just calmly sleep thru every night until receive the Yes/No sms

I heard the schools restrict the number PVs so that they do not get disappointed in phase 2B. Why phase 2B will get busier? (I can understand Phase 2C should be a lot). Because the GRCs will be too many? No restrictions? usually how many GRC applications come to the top schools and rest?
MOE usually updates on the late evening of the final day of each phase. Tonite by midnight u should see it.Ning90:
Hi may i enquire usualli moe website will tk how long to update the no. of vacancies left for the next phase after reg for a phase is closed?
Thanks in advance.
For phase 2B and 2C, due to the sheer volume of data to be verified, sometimes no update until the next day.
Thanks -

Thanks
I do not know about GRL numbers in phase 2B.
But I do know that there are substantial numbers of religious groups which fall under phase 2B also. Hence the sheer numbers at some schools. -
Sure. Thanks. I forgot about that category (Religious groups). Anyway, that is not for all schools.

Thanks
There is no limit to the number of GRL who can register and they have equal chance with the PVs. So in order not to disappoint too many parents, of course the easiest thing to do is to limit the number of PVs. -
Hi, is there restriction for a GRL to only apply under phase 2B in the constituency he serves? Or can he apply under phase 2B in any primary School?

Volunteer is \"someone who freely offer to do something...\"but to offer to do something in return for something else...\" does sound iffy to me, so how can our country tolerate such a system...?momi:
unfairness as in how some people manage to join the popular GRC by “connections” and cut short the length of service. Totally feel this GRL thingy should be scrapped.
Agree, shld be scrap if volunteering at grassroots is not purely to serve the community.
It'll be tougher to get volunteers then
