Hi all,

MARIS STELLA HIGH SCHOOL (SC within 1km)
ST. ANDREW'S JUNIOR SCHOOL (SC outside 2km)
ST. GABRIEL'S PRIMARY SCHOOL (SC within 2km)

      Any advise or comment?
      Thanks

Maris stand a good chance within 1km to get in. St. Andrews likelybneed go ballot.

Maris may ballot within 1km with the new developments within bidadari. St gabriels is safe. Ballot for st andrews.
I agree. In fact, both St Andrews and Maris Stella have historically been relatively safe at <1km, however with the Bididari development coupled with Dragon year, the numbers will be unpredictable. Both Alkaff Vista and Oasis will TOP in 2020 which means those residents will be eligible to apply from 2018 onwards.

        Thanks for your advice;
Yes, she is in dilemma, as she has younger son; what is the next option would you think you will do?

Which year is the younger brother?
RMPS is out of her range this year.

If she really want a co-ed school. Maybe zhangde worth a try. Alexandra even if there is balloting chance the odds shd be worse off than zhangde. Need to be on the ground to monitor the number and check if the odds is within her risk threshold.

Safe choice for co-ed is Blangah rise and Cantonment. If she don’t mind both kids different school, I will opt for chij Kellock

        Thanks Lexy!
Her younger son will be in P1 by 2021 (horse), registration in year 2020!
        Perhaps another competitive year too?
2 years later is as competitive as this year.

Usually we won’t know the exact applicants over the slots for balloting for >2km unless you dig through last year thread.

In the event that Maria Stella need a ballot for 1km, the odds should be fairly good as well. I think it’s going to be close call that it just fill up by 1km folks.

St Gabriel should be sure in for 1-2km.

Alexandra very likely to face balloting within 1km. which is safer at 2CS - chij kellock or zhangde?

Last year Zhangde did not last till 2CS, this year might not also as it is dragon year.

saw Lexy's table...zhangde column is highlighted in purple.

so kellock is still safer than zhangde if risk appetite for APS is high. thanks for the advice.

Folks: i did an update for TUR till 2B 20 July 2018. You may use it and make reference/comparison to the balloting history for the past years.
