:thankyou:
Can call sch go check on the breakdown if oversubscribed. Register on third day might be an option.vivi_vivi:
Maris Stella 1-2km
St Andrews junior >2km
Geylang methodist >2km
Mee toh >2km
Maris Stella is my first choice but am worried balloting will omit 1-2km entirely due to the little number of vacancies left for Phase 2C this year.
Pls advise on chances. And what is the next best second choice.
Thanks! -

So just concentrate on both HPPS or FMS ? Thanks
Please also plan for a backup school (ie. schools with vacancies in P2CS) just in case (touch wood). -
qms:
Backup school is confirmed no matter what. With just 22 places for Henry park and 33 for Fairfield, there are many who stay within 1km who will want to take the risk.Pinkretro:

If you are interested in both schools, you need to know the exact number that applied within 1km. you may have to roam around, finding the actual numbers and pick one that you are more comfortable.
FMPS likely applicants around 1.5X the vacancy
HPPS between 1.5x to 2X
But and its a Big BUT, please find the exact breakdown in numbers for distance, some people have no chance also apply. -

My friend is looking into two primary schools for phase 2C (SC < 1km):
- DE LA SALLE
- CHUA CHU KANG PRIMARY
Just heard CHUA CHU KANG PRIMARY already over-subscribed (118 apply for 102 vacancy), but no breakdown given.
Does anyone have the detail breakdown for both schools? Thanks. -
Tokidoki:
which school is your backup for 2CS? i'm also within 1km of Northland.yishunite:
anyone has numbers for northland and north view?
we walk in at northland this morning. verbally told about 80 registered online. we saw about 20-30 couple registering, dunno how many came before we arrived. chance is 1/4 at most. already advised only <1km should bother (I think they turn away one couple, or else they gave up on the spot)
Last yr 200 fight for 51 vacancies. Fierce fight.
not much choice, probably Naval Base. others are all 1-2km for us so don't think there will be any spots left for North View unless we withdraw now. our daughter's best friend's parents also confirmed Chongfu is balloting <1km so they are going straight for Naval base. -

No chance to ballot. Look at other schools.Hi, I would like to apply for SJIJ (St. Joseph's) > 2 Km. Do I stand any chance?
Thank you
If you’re looking for affiliation into SJI then look at De La Salle(CCK), St Anthony’s Primary (Bukit Batok), St Stephen’s (Siglap).
