agree...parents shouldn't withdraw and add to the 2C stress for parents who have not registered their kids. they have already secured a seat unlike those at 2c.
Parents who had already secured a seat for their children should just stay with their option. hope all parents in P2C manage to get their desired school for the kids. praying hard.. :xedfingers: -

I’m curious why the ACSP/ACSJ/SJI wait till last minute, to see which one has the lowest odds of balloting within 1km before making their move? While it’s understandable why they wanna do that, but I pity those in the 1-2km or >2km people, too late to react if the sch they registered for ends up with balloting within 1km. Good luck to everyone!
i guess you can classify everyone into 8 groups.. and some groups are small margin for error and they sit on the fence. these days getting either acs for outside 2km is really like striking lottery and most people know that based on historic data..
1) die die must get into acs pri and within 1km
2) die die must get into acs jr and within 1km
3) die die must get into acs pri or jr and within 1km
4) die die must get into acs pri or jr and within 2km
5) have sji as backup in case both acs' are low odds and within 1km of sji
6) have sji as backup in case both acs' are low odds and within 2km of sji
7) dont want to play the acs game and going for sji and within 1km
dont want to play the acs game and going for sji and within 2km

My neighbor who went over to register today said that they did not provide breakdown by distance. Only said higher chance if <1km. Are you guys <1km?Feroz:

I see a big jump for some schools today. online registration has closed.
don't withdraw your child because it is so unpredictable and nobody knows what will happen tomorrow.
st hilda has 102 kids competing for 20 seats....nan chiau 252 kids fighting for 52 vacancies.
strangely de la salle has only 79 kids registered where there are 123 vacancies :? -

If you're within 1km to Keng Cheng, you should be safe. Not sure about the breakdown but don't worry so much about the balloting. There will be enough vacancies in other schools in Phase 2C(S), e.g.: Guang Yang, First Toa Payoh, etc. Don't give up on balloting just because of the failed 2A2.meow1607:
Anyone has breakdown for Kheng Chèng?
For me I also can't decide if to take the risk go balloting or settle one that is less popular. I got balloted out in phase 2A2 and I'm scared I can't take the 2nd blow..
Thanks thanks! Went Kheng Cheng, and they told us even 1-2km will foresee need balloting, so ask me don't waste my time and chance.... So I went GY for registration
