Why dilemma?
One is co-ed while the other is all girls, one has secondary affiliation while the other doesn’t. They are so different.

it's clear cut. zhang de is already oversubscribed...but nobody knows how many stay less than 1km or out that.
chij kellock is newly renovated and still has vacancies.

Anyone with kids currently studying in Gan Eng Seng and Cantonment Primary School. Just moved to Bukit Merah and not that familiar with schools here. Wondering about the school environment and teachers in these two schools.

take CHIJ Kellock : affliation is useful, when your daughter reach P5

having a safety net is good. if daughter does very well and able to go to a better school after psle, she can do so. however if not academically strong, there is an affiliated secondary school and with the new AL grading, it's hard to tell how the child will perform. all girls' school at secondary level is free from distraction when girls reach puberty.

I also can’t decide between Zhangde and Queestown… Both are safe for SC now.
