Ps: if u are anywhere near Marymount Convent / Cedar Primary / Bukit Timah Primary and stats look like no balloting, worth a try.

121 applicants for 132 vacancies. All who apply got in.

I think 11 places remaining for Phase 2Cs is the least number of seats available in that Phase for MCS going back a long, long time. Applicants > 1km in Phase 2Cs may be handicapped given those who will miss out the ballot at CHIJ, PCS, KCS

Cedar Pri is a good sch? Genuinely asking, no offense and don’t mean to sound rude at all.[/quote]Yeah I went for their open house a few years back & was quite impressed. It is next to Cedar Girls Secondary which is a very reputable school.

when I left the school at 4.30pm, they were saying for SC more than 2KM, 1 might need to be balloted out. but the teachers say need to consolidate numbers and re-confirm so just asked us to go home and wait for news *prays*

I asked a question earlier but didn’t get any answer so I shall try again:

1. How to waitlist? Go down to the school, 1 person or 2 person?
2. When to waitlist? After 2cs or 8 August can already?
3. If u waitlist another school and got it, what happens to your spot in the first school (if there is no waitlist in sch 1)? Is it just left vacant?
4. Does the school you waitlist at give you a number or entirely up to their discretion?

you can refer to the moe guidelines and eligibility to meet. there's an opening window for waiting list application, not any school more than 3km of ur current residential else ur kid will be posted back to current school.
