Hi, my girl just got in for P1 in 2019 thru balloting in Phase 2C. We stay in Simei. We find that the expected pick-up time for school bus between 6-620am is too early. Looking for carpooling to school in the morning (and back as well, if possible) from parents who are staying in Simei/Tampines area and fetching their kids to school. We are staying in Simei too. Our daughter is also joining Haig Girls in 2019. Coincidentally, was thinking the same thing. Please do let us know if you do find someone who can carpool our kids. Thank you for your post.

Is there relation between these 2 schools? Why don't apply through normal? transfer between specific schools like hard to find answers

Transfer from Haig Girls to Rosyth is hard, because Rosyth is GEP school, and they are quite selective with students, who are trying to seek Transfer. P3 students usually get transferred into Rosyth, via clearing end of p3 Gep test.

For students trying to transfer into Rosyth (Mainstream), at end of P3 and P4 : very difficult. Have a few friends, they put their sons on Wait-list for such a long time at Rosyth, for a few years since P1, not just 2 years, in the end when they reached end of P4, still no news, no hope.


Try not to transfer.
Decide out front, which school u want ? You want Haig Girls, or want Rosyth ?
Why create headache for yourself, transferring here and there for ?

Yeah. Why not just move to <1km of Rosyth and join the balloting. If balloted out, you can still get into Haig Girls at 2CS, no?

No guarantees. Haig Girls' can be a 'weird' one. I guess a lot depends on the number of PR registering in Phase 2C.

She’s Rosyth Alumni, Guess she’s stays near HGS and not sure want to go back Rosyth or not

Really? If Rosyth alumni, should not be too difficult to get an invite to the next sports day or whatever cultural event. Bring your girl there to take a look at the culture.

Similarly for Haig Girls, I think they will have a public Open House or some other event (for public). Just go and take a look and ask more questions there.
