      Sparkss:
I am looking at either eunos primary or TKPS in phase 2cs. Both between 1 and 2km. Hopefully don't need to ballot.

TKPS is double session and lesson ends at 630pm. So late. Scared the DC will be tired. Since she wakes up at 6am daily.
TKPS has 57 vacancies left. Eunos Primary has 78 vacancies left. Honestly, that is not a lot and could possibly go into balloting <1km. U need to check with the school before u apply.

I’m not very familiar with East side and you don’t mention which particular estate you are living in. Would Damai Primary (131 vacancies) be too far for you? That may be a safer school that won’t need to ballot.

          Got balloted out.

Hands were cold and holding back my tears.

But still managed to tell DC cheerfully \"time to find another school\".
Hugs, Sparkss. Sending you lots of positive vibes.

Chances should be still good for SC to try TKPS with 57 vacancies. Those who are unsuccessful at balloting for TNS and NAPS, are likely to be outside 1km too. TKPS will be moving back to its original site at the end of 2019. I suppose they will then function as a single session school, so it is likely that your child will only hv to do the PM session for 1 year. Personally, I will go for TKPS over Eunos Primary.

Way to go Sparkss! Keep your chin up & move on with yr search. You're alr teaching yr child RESILIENCE in the face of difficulties. This process is a journey of life lessons to cope & find new solutions. Will pray for a place for your DC. 🙏

Do you know TKPS will move back to 10 Seraya end Dec 2019?

                http://tanjongkatongpri.moe.edu.sg/qql/slot/u742/Announcements/PERI%20Upgrading/Relocation%20of%20school%20to%20holding%20site%20%28letter%20dated%20on%2025%20Oct%202017%29.pdf

The purpose of upgrading the Seraya campus is to accommodate more pupils for a single session, meaning your girl will be in MORNING session come 2020 (P2). I think that should be ok, right?

Moreover, TKPS is nestled in a high-end private estate with many professionals, expats and PRs. My friend's son was in TKPS and he made some international friends from across the globe. Both my friend and hubby are lawyers.

But at this new temp campus, maybe the demographics will be different.

Tkps : local international school. Lotsa Indians, Angmos & Koreans, landed & condo enclave

Opera estate primary : more Indians and Angmos coz of nearby GIIS, landed enclave

Eunos : more Malays, surrounding some rental blocks of 1-2 HDB rooms

Damai : locals who can’t get into yuneng, naps, RSS

St Anthony : locals, Angmos & Indians

St Stephens : might ballot for 2cs , locals, Indians & Angmo, nestled inside Frankel estate, affiliated to SJI

If I have a boy, I’ll try for st Stephens
If I have a girl, I’ll try for chij kc then st Anthony
But these 3 schools will confirm have to ballot

It’s wonderful to see input flowing in from so many KSPs here! Let’s keep the crowd-sourcing spirit going :rahrah:

                        Hi All,

Couple of questions please re P1 registration process:

                        1) at what point do we need to provide official documentation to the school for registration? vaccination record etc. Is that during orientation day?

                        2) specifically for CHIJ Kellock, does anyone know if the orientation day on November 2nd will be at the current temporary site or the site currently under renovation that the school moves back to in Jan next year?

                        Appreciate the help! Thanks
