One of my teachers got the children talking about their mothers during the mother’s day celebration week. After getting countless descriptions about their mums being pretty, with long hair, can cook, cannot cook, she decided to prompt them further. So she asked them, what type of animal do you think best describes your mum.

Kid A : My mum is like an eagle.
        Teacher : How?
Kid A : Because she will spread her wings and protect me like and eagle

Kid B : My mum is like and octopus. She can do so many things at the same time. She has many hands

Kid C : My mum is like a lion
        Teacher : Lioness. How?
Kid C : She is very fierce like a lioness when she scolds me.

At the end of the session the teacher told them that Sunday is Mother’s Day. And she asked the kids what will they be wishing their mums.

Kid A : I wish my mum happiness, health and strength.
Kid C : I wish my mum happiness and health. But I dun want strength, I dun want mummy to be too strong, or else she will be even louder and when she spank me will be very painful.
