Can tell me why dogs hang out their tongues on hot days? This is my son SA1 examination question where many students can't answer. Plse help. Thanks 🙂

When they are very hot, they are cooled in this way. I heard this theory and believe in it. http://mobile.wikilove.com/Your_educational_friend - this source can help you, you can find there a lot of interesting info for you and your son.

The website below has a few year's mock exam papers for foundation science but should be P6 level (covering P3 to P6 sciences) since it states \"PSLE\".
Should you be unable to find the online P5 foundation science paper that you need, maybe can consider to use their papers and cross out those topics that your child has not learnt yet?

My answer would be: It has cell membrane, cytoplasm and nucleus but no cell wall and chloroplast so it is an animal cell.

However, the answer from school is: Plant cell has cell wall and sap but the above does not.

I thought the main difference between plant and animal cell is the presence/absence of cell wall and chloroplast so I'm not sure why the answer from school is such. Can anyone provide an explanation?

                Appreciate your help, thanks!

For different schools, P5 Semester 1 Science Topics differ, from school to school. Science is a subject, that schools do not standardize which Topics to teach. Is up to individual school’s Science HOD, to decide.

Best that u check your own school’s website, for 2018 P5 SA1 (May) exam and P5 SA2 (October) Science Assessment scope (coverage) Topics

Will like to recommend my current science tutor Mr Cheah who conducts group tuition over at his place over at Seng Kang. He is very experienced, being a former teacher who left quite a number of years back to focus on giving science tuition. My son (who is in p5) is the type where he is able to learn better in a group setting as he gets bored with 1-1 tuition. After engaging a few 1-1 tutors, decided to give a shot at group, and since his place is walking distance from my place decided to give it a shot. After a few sessions, my son seems to enjoy his group class, and managed to find study buddies for his class (there were 2 other boys in the class he attends). He also managed to pass his latest science test with a B grade (previously he only managed to scrap by or just failed). Even though it is still early days, but I am impressed by how my son has performed. His fees are also much more affordable than having 1-1 tuition which helps me a lot, but most importantly is that the learning environment seems to fit my son. If any of you are interested, can pm me so i can give you his contact. Happy sunday all!
