Direct School Admission (DSA) is an exercise organised by MOE to allow students to gain entry into certain secondary schools based on certain criteria other than their PSLE results. Son mention today that the silence reading on Tues is on Maths. May I know what kind of books ? Where to find it? Any recommendation?

For tuesdays silent reading, its on books that is science or maths related.

Can get those non-fiction books on planets, animals, plants etc...

But of cse now, on days that i didn't help to check ds bag, its the same book for the whole week! :roll:

Understand that in Rulang, there are letters from school for P1 student to choose 1 CCA from 8 choices (like gym, Taekwando …). DS has gym during PE lesson, just for a few lesson and it end.

Chk JYPS website, there was Speech n Drama for P1/P2. Is it parent hv to approach Foam Teacher? or it is preselected by school? Any ideal?

Had ask FT during PTM, FM mention she is not aware of the speech n drama for P1/P2.

Hi Parents,

During PTM, MT teacher do not give the "results" in the summary format like the FT did. Other then the 2 tests, which DS score 20/20 and 17/20, how do I know is level for MT?

My DS MT teacher provided the results of the MT test when he was in P1 and P2, just like the other 2 subjects, unless the school changes policy this year...anyway, think you can always check with the MT teacher.

If there is no change in policy, your child will be able to take up Higher Chinese in P2 based on his/her results in the final semester.
