      Was there last week.

The Minamoto Kitchoan rabbit "moon cakes" were really small - like everything Japanese.

Caught some ideas though fr the Taka fair. I’m going harvest some bluepea flowers for my snowskin moon cake. Wonder if I shld try abit of "hei bi hiam " mooncake, looking at how all these new flavours coming on to the mkt.

This year feeling abit adventurous to make my own, as I’m getting more paranoid abt artificial flavouring & coloring. Also collected too many treasure boxes of leftover containers fr past festivals. Just want some fun & fulfillment this year.

I am hopeless with decorating or making intricate patterns. So I like to admire other people's skill. Then get inspired to try only to have reality slapping me in the face very quickly. 😄

Yeah manz. I went to the Taka fair just now wanting to buy the pan pac ones but they don’t have a booth there. Need to order 3 days in advance online and self collect! Sighs.

Will make unique patterns only after getting batches made for in-laws. I'm just using ready mooncake moulds, no intricate patterns.
