can someone recommend a good higher chinese oral guide ? thanks

Nowadays, if a student takes the O Levels CL exam at Sec 3 and HCL exam at Sec 4, can they retake the CL exam at Sec 4 and HCL exam at A Levels respectively, if they are not happy with the grade obtained in the first attempt and wants to retake the paper?

Does HCL students take their Sec 3 O Level Chinese in mid year or year end to decide if they can proceed to HCL in Sec 4? I see that it is mid year in the older threads, my DD tells me it is year end.
