Does anyone know with the new computer balloting by MOE, is it independently audited? Can we get the audit results? Now if its rigged, we also can’t tell.
In the old manual balloting at least you can witness the process. -

In the old manual balloting, there was a video camera in the room which recorded the entire process. I don’t know who received the copy for records purposes: whether MOE HQ or their auditors.Does anyone know with the new computer balloting by MOE, is it independently audited? I suppose for the computer balloting, you can pressure MOE to release more details about who can view the video? Or who is auditing the algorithm and process? U can write an open letter to the press. I’m sure many parents from the 3 schools undergoing balloting will want to know. -
MOE says this system is the same one used for sec school postings for years.

And there have already been open letters to the press on this.

I don't think they answered it officially to assure the concerned parents though. -

And i have an issue with them using the secondary school balloting algorithm. For secondary schools, twins and multiples go in separately on their own T score. For P1 balloting, they are supposed to share 1 ballot chance. Different. So, who is gonna prove to us the correct algorithm is being used? -
zac's mum:
I don't think they are obliged to answer. Anyway, balloting system can be as simple as assigning random number, so we'll never know. There's no incentive for MOE to rig the result, so don't worry too much and just wait for the result.

Does anyone have the breakdown by distance for Saint Andrew’s junior school for 2 b and 2 c? How many seats label and how many registered for those staying above 2 km ?

Anyone has the last balloting result for fairfield methodist?
-
hi parents,
sorry if this question had been asked before:
for the balloting statistics shown in the balloting history, for e.g. ncps in 2017 it was 282% oversubscribed and balloting is required for phase 2C SC < 1km. Anyone knows if the 282% refers to only SC within the 1km radius or it refer to all SC and PR less than 1km, 1-2km and more than 2km?
