No tuition for mine… in fact no time to even go tuition. If based on your boy’s score, I think he will cope well if he pays attention in class and does his work consistently. Be proactive in asking for help from teachers, they are always ready to help! (That’s the impression I get from my boy)

3rd language - if u don’t take up the offer now you won’t be able to join the program again later. I would say join only if your boy is interested to even try. Else it’s a waste of money n time. A large majority drop out by 6 months and the end of the first year.

Sorry my child is not doing 3rd lang hence I can’t help. Tuition - there are kids with tuition; others without. My son has Maths tuition, and nothing else. The teachers really avail themselves for the kids.

3rd language decisions have to be made now…you may wanna ‘chope’ a place first. Can drop later.
welcome to the HCI family! we really like the school and wished our DD could attend (lol!)

My DS qualified in PSLE but we stay in Bedok. Based on my various routing attempts on several websites, it needs a minimum of 1 hour one way.

I tried looking for the information but can’t find. The last mention on this forum was 2015.

Is there are school bus to HCI from Bedok ?

There should be a school bus from Bedok though it ultimately depends on whether enough students take it to make it worthwhile.

I stay in Loyang Ave area and my son takes the school bus at 610, reaching school at 640 am. Too early but to take public transport will end up leaving around the same time.

I don’t know why but my son always wants to be in school early! between 645 and 7 am. So though we don’t live that far away, we also end up leaving the house before 6.30am

Would depend on 2019 intake, and the decimal points. Nothing to lose if you put HCI as first choice though!

😢 my went to the open house and likes HCI. We also think HCI fits perfectly except for the traffic and distance challenge. 😢
