I feel the public transport cost is high as I need to top up (each time $10) my ezlink card very often. A short trip out of the house is easily $1+.
I do agree that the taxes collected should be used to help the old, sick and needy.

Well, we continue to work to pay taxes to help the less fortunate 😄
all the ERP gantries around singapore bring in $3 million a day.
taxes collected, if used to help old, sick & needy would be great. the question is, are they?

last I read maybe a couple of years back is about $150 million per year. Even if it has doubled that would be less than $1 million per day.

slmkhoo, you are right about the UK transport. So expensive. I remembered I walk to buy grocery. Most students do that too.

34 degrees this afternoon. despite the heat, I have to wear long sleeves and long pants so that the sun doesn't trigger the rash to flare up.

Unfortunately, I forgot to apply sunblock today!

Tomorrow DD2 will be attending 《画皮》@Esplanade (for those who DSAed via Bilingualism). She missed out The Hamlet Musicals @Esplanade the other day.

DD1 will be performing at MES (Mediacorp’s theatre) until 11pm. There will be a Fun Fair conducted by her school celebrating 120th anniversary.

Tomorrow, lots of ME TIME since both kids not around.
