Factually wrong, according to the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=93LN_ce2mF8, NYJC's 3H2 Distinction + Pass in H1 GP is more than 40% (more than 4 out of 10), so we don't know exactly how much is the percentage.
Some key data NYJC Vs RVHSHong heng:
That’s really amazing results from RV! Compared to VJc too, think very likely they performed better than VJ.
Wonder how did NY do. Very limited info released.
3H2 Distinsion. 40%. 48%
RP>85. 50%. 70%
RVHS performance still better from above data
85RP or more for NYJC is also greater than 50% and not absolute 50%. RV's 85RP or more is 57% and not 70%
Someone shared RV's distinction rate for Sciences and Math as such:
H2 Maths: 67.3%
H2 Chemistry: 61.1%
H2 Physics:64.7%
However, NY's Sciences (H2 Biology, Chemistry and Physics) and Math:
H2 Maths: >70%
H2 Chemistry: >70%
H2 Physics: >70%
H2 Biology: >70% -
Yes, >40% is from 40% to 100%,
So NYJC should be much better than RI and HCI if base on your interpretation :rahrah: -

This Year RVHS perform better than VJC
What was Victoria Junior College mean UAS, this year ? -
Judging from RV and DHS’s results, I suppose if the JAE’s cop isn’t better than 6 for science, 7 for arts, it won’t help to pull up these schools results in the future.

For Riverian and Dunmanian IP (Integrated program) students, at PSLE, their Cut-off-point for P6 students, is above minimum 250. Around 252 for RV and around 256, for Dunman High.
As long as these two High schools are able to continue to value-add, even if JAE (Joint Admission Exercise) O-level students entered with Cut-off-point around 9 or 10 points, they will still be able to do well in GCE A level, because it is the \"value-addedness\" that will help them, turn them around, turn the situation around. Continue to keep up your good work, all Riverians and Dunmanians. Hao bang yah

Agreed, both DHS and RVHS are most value added school :rahrah:White Earth:

Friend’s kiddo from St nicks O Level track, switched to IP in Sec 3 due to good results ( she says 10 to 15 students were offered the switch for her year) , collected 6 distinctions on Friday and her mum teared when her name was flashed out. Not an easy route and definitely a lot of hard work along the way as per her mum but we are all very happy for my Friend and her kid too.phtthp:

Yes, IP is a challenging but exciting journey.

I'm not familiar with recent OLevel curriculum, but I find IP curriculum amusing - you don't worry about right or wrong answers, & you use knowledge to derive a possible solution. A fren's kid (R) had to design a cell model using materials around them. Another (A) was looking at absorbency of tpaper.
