      Hi J2 parents,

Just to check, did your child receive a sms from NTU-OA inviting them to Hi Tea with President at MBS? My son and friends are thinking if its a scam and how did the uni get their contact numbers.

Already said other than AC n TJ, other top tier JCs including NJC did better.
Grandyma, this is the 3rd time I am requesting you to provide the details of ALL subjects performance of EJC vs other JCs. But strangely, you have been silent on this, again.

I would think after receiving so many criticisms from forummers about your claims, you would want to vindicate yourself by posting the comparison analysis ?

If you are unable to do so, then I can only conclude that you are fabricating and is a consummate liar.

Don't talk so much hot air.

          1. Show ALL the subjects result you \"claim to have\" have for EJC
          2. Show ALL the subjects results for the other JCs

Then we can see the actual comparison and whether you are just fabricateing stories

          https://postimg.cc/p5yK4nbF

Chill....ok, lets take a subject that has big enrolment eg H2 Econ.
          DHS 66% A
          Vjc 58.3%A
          RV 58%A
You check out EJC Econ A % passes.
If compared to Mid Tier JC, its good.
          But with other JCs...

Sorry, and what's your point? EJC Econs need improvement? Yah, that's true but how about another subject with comparable enrollment to Econs like H2 Physics? How did they do? 😉

I think it goes without saying that some JC is strong / better in some subjects and weaker in others. It's the same for nearly all JCs / schools; you win some, you lose some.

RV, DHS? Not fair lei. 100% IP kids. I thought you always said got IP kids must do v good ?

EJC only 75% IP kids. Can compare like this ah. You quite biased

DHS is one of the SBGE (School Based Gifted Education) schools. It was a pure IP school without JAE students unlike EJC’s intake.

For an apple to apple comparison, may be DHS should compared with RI and HCI, and other SBGE schools.

Perhaps your students and parents can nominate these super tutors from the Science dept for President's Award for Teachers (PAT) next Jan. Bear in mind this JC doesn't attract Olympians if I'm not wrong.

33% As for FMaths is very good considering this IPJC has a disproportionate no of male students (pardon my assumption that males are better in FMath and higher).

Not sure about the std of its Humanities dept.[/quote]Ah Ma, you need to read more carefully before shoving words into EJ parents' mouths. It was I (pg 73) who used the superlative 'very good' but I used it not on ALL subjects, but only FMaths (primarily based on my own sexist prejudice, like it or not I do not care).

And for info, I also used another personal pronoun 'your', which I thought any primary school pupil should be able to infer author is not one of the EJC parents. Unfortunately, your #comprefail.

Therefore, your comment that 'EJC parents said' 'ALL subjects' were 'very good' is incorrect on 3 counts. No one is boasting here. Cheers.

                      Not 50% as shared.
                      Its 44.6% so is 45%.
EJ's 'at least 3H2 distinctions' is 4 in 10. But Principal didn't include mention of GP pass.
NYJC also has 4 in 10 of 'at least 3H2 distinctions + GP pass'. About the same as others in mommyng's table.

Objectively speaking, EJC did rather well overall.

Speaking of EJC's 33% A in FMaths, do you happen to know if NYJC's FMaths (for that matter the entire suite of Science and Math subjects) is also '7 in 10' (>70%) As? We don't see RJC's FMath's performance unfortunately.

i dont need you to give me creditbility.
My point of showing Econ % is to show you that EJC did well but not \" very well\" until it value added more than single digit JCs like what your EJCian parents claimed.
Most of you dont have the full data of EJC results yet can deduce EJC has done \"very well\". Based your \"very good\" conclusion on ??
82.4RP is good but not better than top tier JCs eg NJC- NJC RP cant be lowered from 84.4 to below 82.4 mah.
