Hi Shurley, like one mum said here, try evening primrose. It's not an immediate solution to the pain but after about a month or so, she will feel much better. You can start with 1000mg in the morning with food and another 1000mg at dinner time. Always get good cold pressed quality.

As evening primrose is a fat soluble supplement, it works better with food.

In the meantime, gently massage her tummy with lavender massage oil to relax the muscles which in turn, may ease the cramping

          Hi,

the following sanitary napkin can help. Do give it a try. I was very skeptical and have thought that it was too expensive at first, but after my first month using it, I decided to stay on with it. Can't explain the technology behind it but basically the FIR and Negative Ion can regulate your menstrual flow. For me I experience significantly lighter flow thus changing less frequently(used to need to change 2 hrly on first 2 days). This breaks even for the price issue as I need not change so frequently and my menstrual duration is shortened too. Friend's gal has no more cramp first month into using. Regulate before menses arrive by using the liners(which also have the Negative Ion strips) 2 weeks before the 'M' day. That's how we experience the result in the 1st month. Do try it to feel the difference.

There is a menstural synchrony theory which provides useful and helpful information in menstrual cramps. My wife followed it and got relief in next some days. Check it out https://menstrual-cycle-calculator.com/menstrual-synchrony-theory-will-womens-periods-sync-up/

There are many treatment options. You can use pain medicines, hormone treatment, heating pad, surgery, and other methods.
