      Thanks, sweetbaby.

Can you share more on how you guide him on planning?
      KiddyLow,

We used a planning sheet on weekends. You can use any like those given by school teacher or you can get free or buy from online. Basically, forcing him to think thru the question and plan each component. We also follow tips given by members in this thread and put the time and effort. At first was really hard, the kid was really resistant and literally drag the work the whole day. :spank:

Being creative is an artistic skill. You either have it or you don’t. The mechanics of creativity can probably be assimilated (eg. write like a famous author, or use good English), but the imagery cannot be copied.

That’s why there’s a world of difference between the Harry Potter books vs the Geronimo Stilton books. But then again, for PSLE purposes, parents just want to get at least a passable level like GS, no need for everyone to write so deep & flowery like Commonwealth essay competition winner or so bestseller creative like HP mah.

I try to give dd fish oil and another one so called brain food (ingredients of ginkgo biloba and vit Bs) on weekdays, after breakfast in car…weekends tend to forget to take.
