hi everyone, i have some questions which i remembered it was mentioned before but and i cant seem to find back the post.
trying to strategize abit…
on the day of 2B registration, will it make sense if my husband queues at ACSP while i queue at ACSJ. i am just thinking given the stats for past few years, it seems like we might run into a situation whereby balloting is required in ACSP under 2B within 1km for SC.
any advice will be very appreciated! thanks! -
Sure, you can Q at both but you have to decide & submit your application before cut off time. The applicant must produce both original ICs + the church endorsement letter. So if they are not in hand, u must factor in the travel time to bring the items over.

Is there any watsapp group for acs(P) 2020?
Thanks -
Can I ask where/what are the common student care for acs primary students?

HI there experienced parents, may I know during the registration period, will ACPS and ACSJ show the number of applicants and their distance brackets to the parents for their info? I hope they do…
TIA. -
Hi parents, today under 2A(1) registration MOE website shows:
(1) ACSJ 88 applicants for 155 vacancies, and (2) ACSP 106 applicants for 143 vacancies. Is this considered to be high taken rate or normal rate or below normal compared to past year? thanks in advance. -

Hi I’m staying within 1km of ACSJ, ACSP and SJI. Singapore citizen. Will be registering my boy this year under phase 2C. Which school do you think I should register for? We have preference over ACS schools but worried that we may not get in. SJI maybe our 3rd choice but need some advice whether under what circumstances should we choose SJI? We don’t have a big appetite for balloting and from past history, SC within 1km do not need to ballot under 2C. Need some opinions. Thanks.

SJI <1km usually no ballot. Both ACS need to monitor on last day afternoon. Standby on both before deciding and good luck!

You need to monitor and decide what time is your cut off. There could be no balloting at 4pm but numbers rise after that. Some parents seeing odds are better over the the other ACS will come in at the last minute, triggering a ballot. By then its too late for you to do anything.

SJI Jr is safe as parents who are risk adverse will switch over to SJI Jr
