St Gabs is super safe for 2B >2km, but seems OK safe for 2C >2km? I am nervous that if i don't get the ballot for Maris at 2B, i might miss out at 2C for St Gabs.... or am i being kiasu/kiasee again? haha
Will you be thinking of Maris Stella in 2B if St Gabriel is not safe in 2C?

Sometimes we forgotten the things we have in our hands.

Anyway, it depends on you are gg to choose for balloting or not. To take the risk in 2B (Maris Stella gg for balloting) would mean St Gabriel as 2C choice and you need to add in Monfort as 2Cs backup.

I donno.. I'm not in the group where I have alot of whatsapl group chat on homework etc. And i dont quite relate to the point where the competitor hush hush about their choice. It's as if by sharing about it will influence someone else's choice? Just a question if there is any group chat out there by area so we can share live status for various sch. Instead of running here and there.
There are some threads by area, else you can consider starting a new thread of your interest area.

I am sure everyone can relate better in the chat since they are in the same situation.

Live update can either relieve stress or increase stress. If you ever sit at the school during the last hour of a very hotly contested school, you would witness the facial expression of those parents waiting with every other parent who come to the school. Daggers eyes, eyes that can shoot 飞镖 😂

I would like to believe the best of everybody. But imagine a scenario like this: there are 3 final seats left for 1-2km applicants. I assume nobody is saintly enough to announce it on the Whatsapp first then walk up to the counter to register.

So apply first, then becomes left with 2 seats for 1-2km. Really will you broadcast it on WhatsApp? Invite people to come and cheong for the seats? What happens if 3 people 1-2km come and apply, pushing you into a balloting situation: 4 pax ballot for 3 seats. What happens if u the kindly announcer loses the seat to the other 3. Will u happily & graciously say, congrats it was a fair ballot anyway.

What happens if upon your announcement, suddenly 2 more people <1km decide to apply. Then they fill all the seats exactly. None left for 1-2km, including you and all the other 1-2km. Even if u don’t mind, the other people 1-2km may mind. A lot.

Just to add additional information for parents here.

                    1. Twins/Triplets takes up 2 vacancies, 3 vacancies respectively etc…

                    2. For those planning to switch schools and stationing your spouse at school B, take note you need to be in the registration hall by the cut off time with a queue number and ALL your documents.
Doesn’t count that you are in the registration hall with queue number and your spouse is rushing over with your NRICs.

But if there is a last slot vacancy, then both twins gets in
