Yes. If SCs do the same, we can squeeze them. If not, later do not complain that SC need to ballot in 2C. The 40 hours really burnt a lot of my leave.

Assuming that you are saying "If a PR does the same". A Singapore citizen under phase 2B (also taking annual leave to do her 40+ hours of PV) for her first child cannot squeeze out a PR under phase 1.

Thanks a lot! He does have back up plans (Damai/fengshan) and has been monitoring the numbers closely. He has also taken leave to do his leg work haha

A first child does not have an elder sibling.

I believe that particular subsequent example was a PR volunteering for 40 hours for a not so popular school and then the younger PR children getting into the same not so popular school under phase 1. A SC first child cannot squeeze out the younger PR child under phase 1.

SC elder child going to a GEP not relevant (not an apple).

Point taken that a system cannot be 100% fair.

Need some advice, been balloted out from nyps phase 2B and will be trying for phase 2C since we’ve been staying <1km for many years and there is only nyps left for my boy within 1km. If we get balloted out again in phase 2C what are the chances of us to appeal? And the chances of getting to BTPS at phase 2cs >2km? Thanks!

zero chance to appeal if balloted out. BTPS probably can get in at 2CS without ballot for >2km.
