i only look at odds, i dont recommend schools.
Just word of mouth. No other reason. Close proximity (within 1 to 2km) to plmgs distance wise.
PR would have to look elsewhere. Zero chance in those 3 schools.

Hi mummies, any information on Raffles girls, St Margaret's and PLMGS for ballot from last year will be greatly appreciated. Don't know if PR can make it anywhere in 2C. Many thanks in advance.
For girls’ school, in addition to those suggested by Lexy: Haig Girls’, Marymount Convent. -
Thanks a lot ladies, really appreciate your suggestions

Hello fellow parents! I'm staying within 1km of Hong Wen (applied for PV but rejected 😢). 1-2km for SJIJ & St Andrew's J. Am also alumni for Radin Mas (but the distance is further, so if possible would like to opt for a nearer sch).
Looking at past statistics, Hong Wen is a long shot even within 1km (am I correct?) , same for SJIJ & SAJ within 1-2km. But if given a choice, I would rather go for a catholic sch.
Strategy will be to go for RMPS under 2A1 and watch for stats for 2C. May I ask.. What are the odds for 1-2km for both SJIJ and SAJ? My risk appetite is v low! For now, I told myself I'll only withdraw from RMPS if either is a sure in (no ballot).
Appreciate any thoughts though it's only next year that I'll be registering..! -

All 3 you mentioned need to ballot at your distance. Since your risk appetite small, probably just stick to RMPS. Or you might want to monitor St Gab as some years it need not ballot for >2km

Another catholic school close to the city is Canossa Catholic Primary https://canossacatholicpri.moe.edu.sg/

Hi, wondering if any master can enlighten me. I’m looking at the absolute numbers of applicants for phase 2b at Ai Tong school this yea and last year. Looks fairly similar to my recollection but Ai Tong has always been balloting at sc <1km for phase 2b or so I thought. Was it true for the dragon batch of babies as well?

Aitong is 32 for 31 seats, ballot for beyond 2km in phase 2b, this year.
However, through my experience this year, I can only say balloting history are just statistics, you can take even past 10 years balloting history, live birth rate, resident birth rate bla bla bla as risk calculation but you cannot predict everything. Can you predict if the school will cut 30 seats? Analysis are just analysis.
