Thank you, David!
PCPS probably can get in with high chance. NCPS is not for the risk adverse. And since moving to Punggol, it’s better to go near in future with 2 kids of different gender. If OLGC means pair with St. Gab if don’t mind the distance, or consider OLNoosmummy\" post_id=\"1923902\" time=\"1564414478\" user_id=\"173837:
Hi, I’m a SC <1km to NCPS. Am considering whether to go for CHIJ OLGC >2km under 2C as it is the nearest sch with affiliation and i note there was no balloting/over subscription for past years. Or should I forgo since it’s quite a distance from my home and go for NCPS <1km with balloting risk and put PCPS as backup cos I’ll be moving to punggol in future. I have considered going straight for PCPS >2km under 2C. But I fear balloting risk for PCPS this yr as the vac of 122 is way lower than last year’s 223 (181 taken in 2C). Have a younger kid of diff gender. Would greatly appreciate your insights please. Thank you!

Haha yeah that’s the irony of my situation. I’d set my mind on NCPS ever since I moved in sk years ago. Change of housing plans recently had made me look for other sch near my new place (not moving within 30mths) and I saw potential in pcps as past years’ trend shows increasing no. of applicants in 2C and still with spillover for 2Cs. But this year’s vacancy for 2c in pcps really caught me off guard; it’s 100 seats lesser than usual! I did not follow the no. of applicants for each phase in pcps this year (was complacent and thot that sure have 200+ seats), so I can’t gauge if it’s due to the priority entry in 2A2 that caused this abnormality in PCPS stats. Would appreciate if anyone who has been following the stats for pcps, can you kindly share the number of applicants for each phase with me?
Don’t quite understand. If you fear balloting risk for Punggol Cove, how can it served as a back up? It has to be 2C or something else.oosmummy\" post_id=\"1923902\" time=\"1564414478\" user_id=\"173837:

Also, there’s a minimum 30 months no-move period if you successfully ballot into NCPS. That will also determine whether NCPS is even a possibility. -

Reason 1 punggol cove cut intake from 320 to 250
Reason 2 kindergarten route taken 31 space.
Therefore there is a difference of about 100 spots -

Dear parents
What are the chances for Chongfu Primary since the results updated today is 142 applicants for 48 seats. I read a comment from a member here that she was told by the staff to withdraw the application and try other school because no chance at all even for SC staying within 1-2 km. Then the 48 seats for who? PRs? -

48 seats only for the 1st tier - SC <1km to ballot

The staff could mean that balloting is for SC staying within 1km of the school.
