my gal say for her mother tongue oral, the video shows a teacher teaching, and asked questions, and students were fighting to answer. then the teacher write words ‘Be Kind’ on the whiteboard, and ask students to volunteers to play the different roles to the classmates to explain to the class what is Be Kind
qn asked :
1) if you were the students, will you like the lessons the teacher was conducting
2) in real life, do you have such type of lessons
3) what other interesting learn method you have encountered
4) how do you feel about the method you have just mentioned in point 3. -

If they Oral the kids in English on \"e-learning\", it is easier.phtthp\" post_id=\"1928933\" time=\"1565844181\" user_id=\"35251:

this sounds \"tough\" to me. .. to talk about e-learning/IT stuff in chinese
any sch gave such similar topic before on e-learning for chinese oral /compo ?
But if test them in Mandarin, become not so easy, because one need to quickly translate your thoughts and ideas, from English to Chinese vocab on the spot fast, before got \"meat\", got substance to talk.
However, this e-learning, they have personally experienced before, in school computer lab as well as at home when Tr request them do homework assignment on computer at home. So it is something they have experienced, gone through before.
E.g. like today, the p3 to p5 students stay at home, to do e-learning at home, while we p6 students are taking psle in schoolsembgal\" post_id=\"1928945\" time=\"1565845684\" user_id=\"5559:Actually, this theme is similar to 户外学习/学习之旅 --> i.e. they want the kids to talk about learning outside of typical classroom setting.
Chenlaoshi, it seems like there are different variations of qns being asked, althou they are all geared towards the main theme. Is this the norm or is it becos the variation arises becos of prompt qns? or is it that some kids will get certain qns but not the other qns that his or her peers gets becos there is a list of qns that teachers can shoose what to ask?
Whether it's outdoor learning, learning journey or e-learning, the key points are
- interesting and authentic (vs. seating in classroom) 更有趣
- engaging (involves more interaction, may engage more of the 5 senses) 更有互动性
- affected by weather/ not affected irregardless of location 被天气影响 / 任何地点都能进行
- can be distracted 容易被分心
- more self directed learning involved 自主学习 / 自律
- need to take note of safety (online / physical) 需要注意安全 - 个人安全 / 不良网站
Btw the more i looked at the qns, the more I feel that today's topic and qns are not easy at all. -
Yes the CL topic… Worried that my daughter talked about the wrong thing sweat

At least 3 (http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=69&t=81235&p=1899821&hilit=chenlaoshi#p1899821), usually 4 (+ 1 转向问题)any idea what is the 'normal' number of questions examiners will asked?

In short, I call them \"CEO\" - content, experience, opinion. The way they phrase the questions may not be direct but ultimately, these are the aspects that they are testing the students on.
For example, Content related questions can be:
请说出录像中一件_____的事。
你喜欢录像中的____吗?为什么?
如果你是录像中的____你会有什么反应/感受?为什么?
Student is bound to refer back to the video content and mention the happenings/content as evidence/support for their own answers.
Subsequently, Personal Experience and Opinion type questions are related to the theme but no longer draw (much, if any) direct references to the video content.
Some kids elaborate their point logically and in their answer, they covered what the teacher would've wanted to ask for the other questions (esp. 转向问题) thus some get fewer questions.
If the student (mentioned by dylanmummy2003) got asked that many questions, it's most probably all her answers lacked elaboration or clarity. By asking more questions, the invigilators are actually 'helping' her and giving her a chance to score - because, if she manage to respond to those questions, they can still award her marks for the language and grammar component (15 marks) while helping with the content part (another 15 marks) a little (albeit very minor). -

I think our children have same questions after watching same video.

but isnt 13 questions abit too much for the kid? my gal says her classmate took the longest time among all, and has the most questions ask. maybe she was overwhelmed with the amount of questions, thus she broke down when she leave the room.

Very hard for me to comment as I'm not sure how her classmate responded to those questions and if questions like 为什么 is also counted in that 13 questions (how did she keep track of that number in the first place :p). >_<

I would guess that it's either her answers are all very short and lack depth/content or she was going out of point (maybe misunderstanding the questions) -
My son has around 6 转向题 questions. He said he managed to answer. Will he still lose content marks?
