The prelim exams over and results are in. Some cried over their marks in class and they are students who perform very well. Parents, if you are reading this, please take a step back and monitor your children’s emotional aspect and your pressure on them caused them to break down in school without your knowledge. Even if parents do not give pressure, the pressure from teachers and peers can be too daunting. Take a moment to reflect fellow parents and educators.
Were the papers tough or the kids performed below their own expectations? It’s tough to Get high marks, but even tougher to maintain the high Marks consistently. I think those kids who are consistently expected to perform at tip top condition can really be stressed out. We are humans after all, not robots.

I guess may be true. My gals so far alrdy sat 2 papers last wk. Tmrw and tues 2 more. Seems prelim this round is easier, and they said easier than SA1.....But to me i guess kids now are more prepared as compared to SA1....

MOE should tell SEAB not to set difficult PSLE papers but I think the papers were set 2 years ago for year 2019.

O levels papers are set 2 years in advance.
