My DC said her teacher said MOE asked them not to set difficult prelim papers this year to stress the kids.. don’t know if she heard wrongly..
I guess may be true. My gals so far alrdy sat 2 papers last wk. Tmrw and tues 2 more. Seems prelim this round is easier, and they said easier than SA1.....But to me i guess kids now are more prepared as compared to SA1....

MOE should tell SEAB not to set difficult PSLE papers but I think the papers were set 2 years ago for year 2019.

O levels papers are set 2 years in advance.

yesterday I tried to get some feel of the papers..but she asked me not to talk abt it..the more I m 😓

Also, would you recommend a book to practise English listening compre?

Cos there is no past year papers , so why not just sharpen the child's ears a bit which is so worn out from all this psle psle psle preparation.............

I use P6 Marshall Cavendish LC and past PSLE EL LC papers to help dd practise.

For Chinese LC, I use the one with CD from Popular , cost more than $15 but less than $18.

Prelim EL LC, score 20/20. Prelim CL LC score 20/20.

EL LC is easy to score if you listen carefully and comprehend what the questions are asking for.

2016 PSLE EL LC - Extract 7 passage is about forgetfulness and bears a close resemblance to 2019 PSLE EL Oral Day 2 topic.

                        sembgal, Thanks a lot!
