That does say something about their academic prowess (hence President scholar material) regardless of their dedication to their art form...?

biggest domain in SOTA is visual arts, about 70-80 of the 200 per intake. not sure about dance, but probably 30-40 at most?

Just wondering why the two President scholars did not choose to pursue their passion in Dancing in some renowned university after spending 6 years in SOTA but instead chose to take up courses in International Relations etc.


DH says maybe it’s fine to take up Dance as a hobby but it cannot be treated like a profession as the local market is small, so have to be “practical” about it
