        Dylanmummy2003,

        You can try some of these strategies;

        S&T : Some kids find this easy while others struggle. If its not a natural flair, must sort of memorise basic rules. Some
        S&T books have the examples given. Keep reviewing the examples given.

        Vocab MCQ : Roughly know or guess what kind of word looking for. Teach her to eliminate unlikely answers. Also to
        make educated guess.

        Compre cloze : Help her be aware of the different types of clues. Get a good book to review this.
        :thankyou: :thankyou:
        will walkthrough with her this Sep holidays.

          Don't give up. English paper 2 can really score. My boy used to be weaker and after working specific components separately, he can score ard 91/95

Unlike some of his classmates, who are excellent in all components including oral, have impressive final results of 93 and above. But I do feel that EL Paper 2 is easier to improve a few marks compared to Paper 1.

I guess our childs are all different, my child scores excellent marks for oral, LC and paper one but she could not get A* due to the 77/95 for paper two.
