From the current collection of Prelim papers in the market: these are the schools that switched note writing from Q33 to Q40 --> RGS, Pei Chun, ACS, Pei Hwachenlaoshi\" post_id=\"1933372\" time=\"1567484976\" user_id=\"162894:[quote=chenlaoshi post_id=1933372 time=1567484976 user_id=162894]
For majority of the students, I would say so, as they are more exposed note writing in question 33. Thus, it'll be good if they can try out the switched questioning too.MrsKiasu\" post_id=\"1933334\" time=\"1567477839\" user_id=\"43981:[quote=MrsKiasu post_id=1933334 time=1567477839 user_id=43981]oic..so we hope the note writing will appear as qn 33 , better to students hor.
ours still at Q33
For 2018 prelim paper can try : Nanhua; Pei Hwa; Raffles Girls
This year's prelim, Queenstown; ACS; St Hilda's and if I remember correctly, River Valley and Maris Stella also set at question 40.patlsy79\" post_id=\"1933362\" time=\"1567481795\" user_id=\"65743:patlsy79, psle format = compulsory 1 note writing question (4 marks - 2 for language 2 for content), can be set at either of the 阅读理解二 A, B sections

Is it true that school prelims are usually set easier thus may differ alot frm actual psle results?

Hi hi! For my DD, I am insisting that she sleeps at the same time (10-1030pm) but she can wake up by 9am for this week hols (she doesn’t nap in the afternoons). She must get down to revision from 10am onwards. I worry that sleeping late at night will mess up her body clock, and less sleep will lower her immunity. On school days she wakes up by 6.15am. Just my thoughts, hope it helps 😁 Jia you everyone! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼 16 more days! 😬😬😬😬
Hi everyone..
Hope all are fired up for the final lap
Can I ask how many hours are sufficient sleep this month assuming that kid does not like to sleep in the afternoon? -

for students to study Secondary Chinese literature, 文言文, like \"三國演義\" or \"孫子兵法\", may we know what's the criteria like ? must the P6 student score minimum grade A (75 to 100) in PSLE \"Standard\" Chinese, or minimum a \"Pass\" in PSLE \"Higher\" Chinese ? Thank you -

Hi phtthp, St Nicks Secondary used to offer Chinese literature as an O level subject during my time, not sure about now but I believe this subject is still around.

Chinese lit is accepted as one of the compulsory humanities in the L1R5 for entry into JC. We had half our class taking a subject combi of triple science + Geography, the other half taking triple science + Chinese lit. During Chinese lit lessons, they would go to another classroom to combine with another 20 girls (their combi was double Science + History + Chinese lit). I dunno what criteria of CL grades they had to meet in Sec 2, but mostly it was due to interest and they chose this subject combi during Sec 2 when submitting the form. The interest must be there. Other than that, it is extremely easy to score if you can memorize all the sample answers (according to my seatmate, the O level qns were quite predictable - just regurgitate and score A1!)
