I do not know what the S.O.P. is at primary schools. But I do know that the S.O.P. at my son’s preschool (& children’s church) is that when an incident involving injury occurs, the teacher needs to call both sides’ parents separately to inform them what happened, and what measures were taken (eg made the offender apologize, first aid applied, etc). The other party is not named. But sometimes the kids themselves tell the parents who’s the other party. One time the other parent Whatsapped me to apologize and even offered to buy anti-scarring cream as compensation. No broken bones or teeth.


Your incident is more serious. I dunno what happens if and when one party chooses not to accept the teacher’s explanation/solution. So I can’t help u there. Maybe u need to escalate to higher management. Have u tried contacting the other party’s parent via PM in the class chat group?

I asked the school who’s the boy with the racket and the parents . The school ignored my email. The form teacher on phone say don’t know who. They just don’t bother . I suspect is negligence of the school. But instead of meeting me professionally, they try to cover up and give excuses.
