Just need to subscribe to the mentality of \"not leaving things to chance\". No harm in writing a few words more if it helps to avoid the possibility of being deducted marks.

For example, if the answer involve 2 characters of the same gender (such as 女儿 and 妈妈), then avoid using 她 throughout the answer, just state their name/identity - in fact, even if it's different gender, as long as it involves 2 or more characters, should also do that, because they are cases where 他 became 她 and vice versa.

          Another example, 从哪里可以看出小明不愿意帮妈妈的忙?
          从“... ...”可以看出。 vs 从“... ...”可以看出小明不愿意帮妈妈的忙。

Are you in P5 now, refering to next year 2020 PSLE, is it ?

because in most tuition centre, this week is the last lesson, for all 2019 P6 students, since PSLE starting the day after tomorrow, ie Thursday. No more intensive tuition, only left tomorrow Wednesday one last day, for own self rapid revision. Intensive tuition was conducted during September 2019 one-week school holiday break, already over

Many parents are still making a last-ditched efforts this week. Kudos to your efforts, but be careful not to add anxiety to an anxious kid.

My son’s classmate had stomach ache and had to run to toilet in the middle of the exam. Another neighbour’s son lost confidence after comparing answers with friends after one paper.

My younger son took PSLE last year. Perhaps my personal anecdotes will provide some insight on how to handle study stress and decide on school choice from children’s point of view.

Frankly , 2 marks lost in LC is equivalent to 1 mark . Will it really differentiate A vs A*.

I think the losing of one mark can get it back from Paper II and composition.
Every mark (point) counts, very precious, in Psle (National exam).
                        Why ?
because it can determine a child's fate, in his (her) Secondary education journey

Which one, is easier to \"eat up\" (swallow) ?

earn 2 marks, from LC ?

                        Or

earn 2 marks, from composition / zuowen Paper 1 ?

                        Or

earn 2 marks, from those components, inside Written Paper 2 ?

How precious (valuable / important), is this ONE point ?
Everyone know that (aware ), harsh reality -

                        1)
missed by just one point, do not meet the Secondary school's Cut-off-point, through S1 computerized posting, MOE forbid students to even appeal to that Secondary school,

                        2)
missed by just one point, student cannot even go back to the Affliation Secondary school

                        Eg

                        SCGS

P6 student's Tscore is 219, cannot even go back to her Affliated SCGS (Secondary) anymore, whose Affliation Tscore is 220.

Very sad, missed by how many point ? Just ONE point, only !

Cry to appeal to Principal to go back to Affliated school also no use, because MOE National policy state that, \"first, have you already met the Secondary school's Cut-off-point, before allowed to make an appeal ?\"

                        3)
missed by just one point, P6 student can be channelled by MOE S1 posting, to Normal (Technical), instead of into Normal (Academic) stream,

                        Or

be channelled by MOE S1 posting, to Normal (Academic), instead of into Express stream
